Hurricanes track star and walk-on defensive back Corey Nelms made his first tackle a memorable one to open the second half against Oklahoma Saturday. Nelms' hit on Mossis Madu "was the turning point in the game" according to head coach Randy Shannon. The senior all-ACC hurdler is in his first season on the football squad.
